On September 26, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with composer, People's Artist of Russia Igor Krutoy to discuss preparations for the WorldSkills Championship to be held in Kazan in 2019, including the opening and closing ceremonies.

Representatives of Krutoy’s creative group told Minnikhanov about their vision of the upcoming show.

Minnikhanov asked them to take into account a significant date for the republic - the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the TASSR in its scenario. Moreover, given the fact that the WorldSkills 2019 audience is primarily young people, Minnikhanov offered to put the most interesting and modern ideas in the scenario.

Minnikhanov handed in the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Dyslyk Order to Krutoy for his fruitful cooperation and a serious contribution to the holding of the 16th FINA World Championships and the 16th FINA World Masters held in Kazan in 2015.
