On 26 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited the Chemical and Technological Institute of the Kazan Chemical and Technical University in Nizhnekamsk which currently is the main supplier of specialists for petrochemical plants and refineries of Kama agglomeration.
On 26 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited the Institute of the Kazan Federal University in Naberezhnyye Chelny, the history of which started 1980 when two technical departments were established to train specialists for the KAMAZ Automaker.
On 26 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited production facilities of the KAMAZ Automaker in Naberezhnyye Chelny and got acquainted with operation of the motor plant and the Cab in White plant.
On 26 August Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, took part in an expanded meeting of the Kazan Federal University Scientific Council, visited the Museum of the University History and left an .entry in the University book of Guests of Honor.
Speaking at an expanded meeting of the Kazan Federal University Scientific Council held with participation of Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is the chairman of the University Supervisory Committee, said that the university trains more than 48 thousand students, 11 thousand of them coming from outside the Russian Federation. A new rector of the University Lenar Safin was introduced to the participants of the meeting and Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the Russian Government for supporting Safin’s candidacy.
