Rustam Minnikhanov hands in a copy of the manuscript of the Kazakh poet Arip Tanirbergenov to the Tatar community of Kazakhstan

On August 25, during his working visit to Kazakhstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of the Tatar ethno-cultural centre of Almaty region in the Palace of Languages in the city of Taldykorgan.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked senior officials of Kazakhstan and President Nursultan Nazarbayev personally for creating conditions for the preservation and development of the culture of local Tatars. He also thanked Akim of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov, who took part in the meeting, and his team for organizing a meeting with the activists of the Tatars of Almaty region of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov handed in a copy of the manuscript of the Kazakh poet Arip Tanirbergenov "Aitys Birzhan Sal and Akyn Sary" to the Tatar community of Kazakhstan, which had asked him earlier to provide them with this copy.

Minnikhanov appreciated the scope of work carried out by public organizations of Tatars in Kazakhstan. He handed in Letters of Commendation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the honorable member of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers of the CIS Shamil Bekbulatov and Head of the Tatar public organization "Tugan tel" Khairulla Ibragimova for their great contribution to the preservation and development of the language, culture and traditions of the Tatar people.
