Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in summary conference of Judo Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan

On August 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the conference of Judo Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan at Volga Academy of physical culture, sport and tourism (Kazan). Head of Russian Judo Federation Vasily Anisimov took part in the event.

The main topic of the conference is reelection of the president of Judo Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Before the conference, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the training of sportsmen, met members of the Russian team, who are taking part in the meeting on the preparation for summer Universiade 2017 and the 31st World Judo Championship in Kazan.  

Judoists presented a Judo Black Belt to Rustam Minnikhanov for merits in development and promotion of this sport.

Rustam Minnikhanov wished sportsmen good performances and victories. He also reminded that Tatarstan has a status of the most sports region in Russia, that is also due to achievements of judoists on Russian and international levels. The president thanked everyone, who has been involved in the development and promotion of judo in the region.
