Tatarstan President meets Director General of WorldSkills Russia Robert Urazov

On August 21, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of WorldSkills Russia Robert Urazov discussed development of WorldSkills movement in Russian regions and Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov told about the experience of the republic in raising the recognition of skilled professions among the youth by means of development of resource centers and close cooperation with regional enterprises. Besides, the Center of the development of skilled competences was created in Tatarstan in order to implement WorldSkills standards in education.

Participants of the meeting also discussed the preparation of the national team for WorldSkills-2017 in Abu Dhabi (October 14-19).
