Atlas Global intends to boost cooperation with Tatarstan

On August 18, during his working visit to Turkey, Tatarstan President held a number of business talks with representatives of Turkish business, including senior managers of Atlas Global Airlines.

During his meeting with Chairman of the Managing Board of Atlas Global Murat Ersoy, Tatarstan President discussed prospects for growing cooperation in the sphere of tourism, transport and air travel.

"You are successfully doing your business in Russia. You have direct flights from Antalya to Kazan, as well as from Istanbul to Begishevo airport. One of the leading special economic zones of the country - "Alabuga", where a large number of Turkish companies are operating today, is located not far from this airport. Neighboring regions also often use Tatarstan airports, which helps maximize the occupancy of these flights. Your company and our republic are interested in increasing the number of flights and air travel between our two countries," he continued.

Murat Ersoy stressed that apart from air transportation, the company is one of the largest touristic operators and hotel owners. The company intends to boost both the volume of air transportation and the number of tourists arriving in Turkey. "Today, the development of tourism stimulates about 50 different sectors of the economy. We are negotiating with many countries in Europe and Asia with the intentions of increasing cooperation. Of course, Russia and Tatarstan are the most important strategic partners for us. We intend to develop cooperation with you and are ready to discuss our investment projects," he said.
