Rustam Minnikhanov about the meeting with the delegation of the South Moravian Region: There are a lot of areas for cooperation, the main thing is good relations with partners

On August 3, at the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the South Moravian region Bohumil Šimek in the Kazan Kremlin it was announced that the working group will be established following the visit of the delegation of the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic led by Bohumil Šimek to Tatarstan.

After the bilateral talks between Rustam Minnikhanov and Bohumil Šimek, the meeting continued in an expanded format, with the participation of members of the Czech delegation and representatives of ministries and departments of the republic.

In particular, Bohumil Šimek invited Minnikhanov and specialized companies of Tatarstan to take part in the International Engineering Fair to be held from the 9th to 13th of October, 2017 in Brno (Czech Republic).

Governor of the South Moravian Region also stressed that he regards Tatarstan as the most developed region of Russia. South Moravia is also considered to be the most developed region of the Czech Republic, he added. "I am sure that cooperation between the two strong regions will create the most favorable conditions for further development in the field of science, research and development. Besides, we will develop cooperation in the scientific sphere, in the field of healthcare and tourism," Bohumil Šimek pointed out.

Bohumil Šimek introduced the members of the delegation who have arrived in Tatarstan, including representatives of Czech companies interested in developing cooperation with enterprises of Tatarstan. During the meeting with Minnikhanov, representatives of Czech companies briefed about their business and projects that could be in demand.

Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan enterprises will take part in the International Engineering Fair in October this year. He also asked Bohumil Šimek to convey an invitation to President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman to visit Kazan during his visit to Russia.

Minnikhanov also thanked Bohumil Šimek for having found an opportunity to come to Tatarstan.
