Capital repair started in 977 of 996 multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan

On July 29, speaking at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Alexey Frolov said that capital repair works have started in 977 of 996 multi-apartment houses in all 43 municipalities.

He continued that as of the 27th of July works under the programme of capital repair of educational institutions are underway at 103 of 146 facilities, including 29 comprehensive schools, six correctional schools and 75 kindergartens.

According to Frolov, the programme aimed at overhauling summer children's health camps have been completed with 11 facilities having been commissioned.

He said that works on capital repair of resource centers (colleges) are underway at 9 of 10 sites. One building has already been commissioned, the First Deputy Minister added.

Frolov also reported on the progress of implementation of other regional programmes, including capital repair of cultural facilities, youth clubs, buildings of settlement municipal councils and others.
