On July 22, during his working trip to Penza region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of new school and kindergarten in Tatar village Srednyaya Elyuzan.

The school is meant for enrollment of 200 children, and kindergarten – for 150 children. Besides main classrooms there are two sports halls, computer class, and a library.

The buildings are adapted for people with limited mobility and have a special lift. The construction of new educational institutions is connected with the population growth. As of January 2017, 8920 people live in Srednyaya Elyuzan. 146 children were born here last year.

The distinguished guests looked around the school and kindergarten and talked to teachers and children.

Later on the same day, Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Penza region Ivan Belozertsev visited a Cathedral mosque that opened in 2015.
