Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular board meeting of Tatinvestneftekhim-holding

On June 27, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular board meeting of Tatinvestneftekhim-holding, which considered a number of innovative project proposals for the implementation in the republic.

In particular, President of IS.Com Company (Portugal) Joao Mendes made a report about concrete coatings using the slab-foundation technology. It was about foundations of road surface bed with the use of high-density foamed polystyrene, which reduces soil vibrations and speeds up work by 40 per cent. The technology, which also includes the laying of polyethylene film on the bed and steel plates instead of traditional fittings, provides a maintenance-free road service for at least 40 years.

Minnikhanov gave an errand to the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the republic to look into these proposals and recommended the Portuguese company to use Tatarstan as a region to enter the Russian market. He also reminded about plans to use concrete coatings instead of asphalt.

Director General and Founder of Advenira Enterprises Elimra Ryabova reported about SDN-nanocomposite coatings. This Rusnano's portfolio company is located in California. Yesterday a new plant TAT-Advenira was launched with participation of Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Executive Board of Rusnano Corporation in Himgrad technopolis in Kazan.

Tatarstan President recommended considering the possibility of using these unique coatings by Tatneft and TAIF companies.

Board Chairman of Russian Maglev Cluster (St. Petersburg) Anatoly Zaitsev told about the possibility of producing magnetic-levitation transport systems. In particular, he made a report about magnetic cushion trains that have no wheels, rails and overhead.

The Board also considered other project proposals made by PromKhimProect (Yaroslavl), Polygon Research and Production Enterprise (Ufa), and Schneider Electric Company.
