Rustam Minnikhanov at 75th anniversary of Kazan electrotechnical plant: The plant has gone through the hard times and the main aim has been to work for the benefit of the country

On June 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Kazan electrotechnical plant at Korston hotel.  

Kazan electrotechnical plant continues developing and strengthening its positions in the market and is one of the leading enterprises producing electronics in Russia. The plant produces military goods and is developing the production of commercial goods. It is also working on the creation of a surgical robot.

“I want to thank Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Defence for the support. For the last three years the performed work has helped to increase the production-by 29 per cent, net profit - by 3,3 times, and tax payments  - by 1,7 times. The industrial production index of the enterprise made 107.2 per cent. All these results have been achieved due to highly skilled personnel of the plant with 1300 engineers, scientists and workers working at the enterprise today,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He thanked veterans of the industry, leadership and workers of the plant for their hard work.

“The plant has gone through the hard times and the main aim has been to work for the benefit of the country,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
