Rustam Minnikhanov presents state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished citizens of Tatarstan

On June 10, at the ceremony of presentation of state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the presentation of state awards on the threshold of Russia Day has become a good tradition.

“All of you represent different industries and spheres of public life. I congratulate you on the main state holiday of our country. The historical experience proves that Russia should be strong and forward-looking. This can only be achieved due to hard work of each of us. A lot depends on the contribution of regions to the development of the country,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He also noted that the republic actively participates in all major programmes of social and economic development and sets the pace in the sphere of mechanical engineering, agriculture, petrochemistry, IT, investment attractiveness.  Among the most large-scale projects Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out Alabuga SEZ, InnoKam, and Innopolis.

Chairman of the regional public organization of veterans (disabled persons) “The union of veterans of the Republic of Tatarstan” Akhat Yulashev was awarded the Order of Honour.

The staff of Kazan Giproniiaviaprom was awarded the Commendation of the Russian President.

By and large, thirty five awards were given at the ceremony.
