This year more than 218,000 children and young people will have a rest in recreation summer camps in Tatarstan

On May 23, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on holding a summer recreation campaign, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov said that this year more than 218,000 young residents of the republic will have a rest in recreation summer camps, which is 3610 people more as compared to the previous year. 

"It is planned to provide 54,500 vouchers for summer recreation camps using funds of the regional budget. They also include more than 16,000 vouchers for children in difficult life situations," the Minister said in his speech.

For today the reconstruction of ten children's camps is underway in Tatarstan. The main works were performed until mid-May. In five years, about 59 per cent of state-owned camps have been repaired.
