25.04.2017

On April 25, during their visit to the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (Yelabuga municipal region of Tatarstan), Russia's Minister for Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov, Head of the Federal Service for Labour and Employment Vsevolod Vukolov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with graduates of the special economic zone's corporate university and got acquainted with their final projects.

A total of 25 students selected from 1600 applicants from all Russian regions of Russia, studied the experience of the establishment and operation of enterprises of Russian and foreign companies for three months. The participants also examined various aspects of the implementation of industrial projects, analyzed business cases of real production facilities, attended master classes in marketing, strategic management, and production management. During the training, students worked on individual research projects in various areas of the special economic zone activity.

Minnikhanov noted the high potential of this educational site. "Alabuga is a very attractive zone. The city of Naberezhnye Chelny received the status of the territory of advanced development some time ago. We have plans to create the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics centre. Therefore, we need highly skilled managers who know the international system. Here you can get the necessary skills that will help you in life. We welcome you and support you," Tatarstan President addressed the students.

Having listened to the student's reports, Abyzov appreciated this format of training, noting that it is of great importance that graduates can use the acquired knowledge.

"All this is combined in Alabuga. We need to develop this site, go to a new stage. We also need to work more actively to make most students stay to work here, increasing the number of specialists," he said. «In general, what is happening in Tatarstan and in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in particular can hardly be met anywhere else. This is the best regional practice in terms of collaboration with investors. The approaches implemented in Tatarstan need to be promoted to other regions of Russia. "
