Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko: Kazan has never caused concern among our FIFA colleagues

On April 13, at the Kazan Arena Stadium, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Organizing Committee “Russia-2018” Vitaly Mutko held a meeting on the preparation and holding of test events during the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017.

Acting Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Fayzullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of law enforcement bodies and other officials took part in the meeting.

Before the meeting, Mutko inspected the stadium, in particular, he visited facilities for football players and support personnel, and assessed the quality of the field.

Answering questions from journalists, Mutko said that Kazan has never caused concern in terms of preparing for major sporting events.
