Ildar Khalikov meets General Manager of Gemont Company (Turkey)

On March 31, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with General Manager of Gemont Company (Turkey) Muhittin Aktas.

Welcoming the guests, Khalikov noted that Turkey is a strategic partner of Tatarstan. Last year the foreign trade turnover exceeded 200 million US dollars. 

He said that Turkish manufacturers are confident in the republic and localize their production facilities there.

Khalikov stressed that the Gemont Company has shown itself to good advantage in Tatarstan. He thanked Mr Aktas for his cooperation with TAIF-NK and good performance of a large amount of construction and assembly works at the Complex for Deep Processing of Heavy Residues in Nizhnekamsk.

Then, Khalikov and General Manager of Gemont Company discussed further ways to develop cooperation. In particular, Aktas presented a project to set up a metallurgical complex for the production of sheet products in the republic.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Acting Minister of Economy of the republic Rustem Sibgatullin, Aide to Tatarstan Prime Minister Nazil Nasibullin, representatives of ministries and departments took part in the meeting.
