A rare copy of the Koran was given to Rustam Minnikhnov in Moscow

On March 21, at the representative office of Tatarstan in Moscow, a rare copy of the Koran was handed in to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his working trip to Moscow.  On behalf of Moscow Tatars a businessman Ilyaz Muslimov presented the holy book of Muslims to Minnikhanov.

From now on, the gifted Koran will be kept in the Kazan Kremlin.

This copy of the Koran was printed at the Vatican Printing House in 2004 with the permission of Pope John Paul II. It was from this Koran a copy of the sacred book, which is now kept in the ancient city of Bolgar (the world's largest printed Koran), was taken.
