Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov holds regional meeting on commissioning of houses and implementation of construction programmes

On March 18, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov with participation of all municipalities, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as of March 17, 2017, a total of 526,900 square meters of housing have been commissioned in the republic, which makes 103 per cent as compared to the same period last year.

Making a report at the meeting, Faizullin said that a total of 23 houses with 1,284 apartments with an area of 69,400 square meters, including 3 blocks of flats with 82 apartments with an area of 4.6 thousand square meters in Nizhnekamsk, Arsk, Alekseevsk regions have been put to use in the republic under the programme of social mortgage for the last two weeks.

He continued that under the programme of rental housing, it is planned to build 13 houses with 379 apartments with an area of 22,600 square meters in 2017. Four houses with 30 apartments with an area of 1,500 square meters have already been commissioned. Nine houses are under construction now.

Work to provide housing for orphans and children left without parental care is underway in the republic. Faizullin reminded that in 2017, as many as 305 orphans will be provided with houses under residential lease agreements.

Faizullin also reported on the implementation of such programmes as construction of multi-family investment houses, rural clubs, medical and obstetric centres, relocation of citizens from dilapidated houses and others.
