Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of Tatar Youth Organization "Argamak" in Leipzig

On March 7, during his working visit to Germany, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Tatar youth organization "Argamak".

The meeting was held in the cockpit of the An-124-100 aircraft, during Minnikhanov's visit to AMTES GmbH (Volga-Dnepr).

There are 30 activists in the organization (two of them work at the AMTES). They are young people from different cities of Germany (Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Frankfurt, etc.), specialists in various fields.

Minnikhanov thanked them for the opportunity to meet in Germany, as well as for their unindifferent attitude towards issues of preserving the traditions, culture and language of the Tatar people.

Tatarstan President expressed his hope that the Tatar Youth Organization "Argamak" will contribute to strengthening ties between Germany and Tatarstan and to improving relations between Russia and the European Union.

Chairman of "Argamak" Ilyas Yambayev told Minnikhanov about the activities carried out by members of the Tatar community, plans for further development, and cooperation with the World Congress of Tatars. In particular, he reported on cooperation with the International Youth Diplomacy League of Tatarstan, Youth Organization "Selet".

The activists came up with a proposal to organize a tour of the Tinchurin Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theatre to Germany, and also asked about the possibility of organizing an online library with access to works of Tatar literature.
