Lecture on innovative solutions and implemented Mastercard projects delivered at Tatarstan Government House

On March 4, at the Government House of the republic, Vice-President of Mastercard in Russia Galina Ganeeva and Director of business development and digital payments, Mastercard payment system in Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan Mikhail Fedoseyev delivered a lecture on innovative solutions and implemented Mastercard projects. 

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, heads of regional ministries and departments attended the lecture.

Galina Ganeeva told about the development of electronic payments and increased number of cashless payments worldwide. Her examples were based on data collected in Italy, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Singapore and other countries.

Fedoseyev told about such mobile trends as payment for services through mobile phones, focusing on further "digitalization" of bank cards.

He also told about tokenization, a technology that provides security of electronic payments by means of reliable data encryption system.

Minnikhanov said that today it is important to stay up to date, to know and to use the most advanced IT technologies, introduced in the banking system, noting that they should be safe and convenient to use.
