Rustam Minnikhanov meets Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa

On February 21, in Manama (Bahrain), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an official meeting between Russia Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa.

The meeting discussed prospects of development of military and technical cooperation between Russia and Bahrain.

Manturov noted that Russia's large-scale exhibition stand displayed cutting edge military equipment at the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2017 in Abu Dhabi.

According to Manturov, today the Russian-Bahrain interaction in the sphere of military and technical cooperation has a great potential that need to be realized.

The Minister invited Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa in Russia to take part in the International Aviation and Space Salon “MAKS-2017” and the 3rd International Military and Technical Forum “Army-2017”.
