Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the work of sturgeon farm in Pestrechinsky region (Tatarstan)

On February 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Pestrechinsky region of the republic to take part in a summery meeting of the regional council on results of social and economic development of the municipality for 2016.

Before the meeting, Minnikhanov had visited a pond-type live fish base for farming sturgeon in the village of Bolshie Butyrki. The farm is part of the Ushnya fish farm.

According to the company management, the complex was launched two years ago. The main feature of the new facility is a recirculation system, which maintains the required water temperature the year round and the fish grow faster. An advanced filtration system ensures water purity and oxygen generator saturates it with oxygen. There is a special laboratory for water quality control at the farm.

Then, Tatarstan President went to the Ak Bars poultry complex, where he inspected the parent stock site. The poultry-house is used for receiving hatching eggs. Rustam Minnikhanov was told about poultry management.
