Tatarstan President meets Acting Iran's Consul General to Kazan Alibeman Eghbali Zarch

On February 9, at his meeting with Iran's Consul General to Kazan Alibeman Eghbali Zarch at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the level of bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and Iran in economic, political and humanitarian spheres within the framework of Russian-Iranian relations.

Ten years ago the Consulate General of Iran was opened in the capital of the republic, which was an important step in further enhancing our relations, Minnikhanov said.

"We are sincerely grateful to the leadership of Iran for their decision taken in 2007. I hope that headed by you the Consulate General will successfully contribute to the strengthening of relations between our countries," Minnikhanov addressed Alibeman Eghbali Zarch.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, CEO of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other officials took part in the meeting.
