Ildar Khalikov meets representatives of Evolen Association (France)

On January 31, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with representatives of the Evolen Association (France).

Director General of the Evolen Association Gérard Momplot, Director of Evolen Projects in Russia Vladimir Zhivushkin and others are on a working visit in Kazan these days.

Welcoming the guests, Khalikov noted that France has been a reliable partner of Tatarstan as one of Russian regions for many years.

The Prime Minister continued that French companies are actively investing in the regional economy. Moreover, bilateral contacts between Tatarstan and France have increased recently.

Thus, a delegation of the French Agency for the international promotion of French businesses visited Tatarstan in June 2016, during their visit to France in November last year members of Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the business forum "Tatarstan - France" and other events.

Khalikov also noted that there are other areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and France that need to be strengthened. During the meeting the parties exchanged their opinions regarding further cooperation.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, CEO of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina, General Director of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin and other officials took part in the meeting.
