Professor of London Business School Richard Jolly delivers lecture “Leadership in modern conditions” at Tatarstan Government House

On January 30, professor of London Business School Richard Jolly delivered a lecture “Leadership in modern conditions” at Tatarstan Government House.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, representatives of executive authorities and responsible employes of the Cabinet of Ministers attended the lecture.

Richard Jolly told about special features of modern leadership and relations between employees and managers. The results of one survey showed that 95 per cent of employees do not know or do not accept the strategy of their organizations.

According to the lecturer, leadership as a quality changes depending on generation. He told about his trip to China and that today the needs of young people are different from their parents’ needs.  Young people want to develop and know their results. Modern leadership suggests development of healthy ambitions.

At  the end of the lecture the professor answered questions of the audience.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Richard Jolly for a very interesting lecture and examples.
