Tatarstan commission approves the implementation of two new projects at Chistopol Advanced Development Territory

On October 21, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a joint meeting of Tatarstan Investment Council and the commission for the consideration of applications on the conclusion of working agreements and their implementation at Chistopol Advanced Development Territory.

The Soyuz company introduced a project on the construction of a confectionery factory for the production of cakes. Project officer Sergey Chernukha said that the Russian confectionery market is considered one of the largest in the world. Over the past 5 years, the production of confectionery in the country has increased by over 11 per cent. The Soyuz is focused on both the domestic and export markets. It is planned to create 125 new jobs under the project.

The Eltech company plans to construct a plant for the production of electrical products and components in Chistopol. The main area of ​​activity is the manufacture of electronic components (printed circuit board) and inkjet generators. Certified production with modern equipment, will allow you to fulfill orders at any level in a short time. The main customers are companies from Tatarstan, Rostov and Moscow regions. The project plans to create 44 jobs.

The members of Tatarstan Investment Council and the Commission approved both investment projects. The meeting participants also approved the lease of land to the Soyuz and the Eltech companies without tendering for the implementation of the introduced investment projects.
