Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the opening of the All-Russia meeting of treasury officials in Kazan

On September 16, in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the opening of the All-Russia meeting of treasury officials.

Alongside with the meeting, a sports and athletic contest between the territorial agencies of the Federal Treasury will be held at the Volga Youth Centre.

Pesoshin welcomed participants of the meeting and thanked the senior managers of the federal department for holding this event in Kazan. “Tatarstan is used to holding major events, including the Universiade 2013, the World Aquatics Championship, six matches of the FIFA World Cup and the WorldSkills Competition that ended recently in Kazan. We have gained significant experience in holding major events and are sure that this meeting will be held in the best manner possible,” he emphasized.

Deputy head of the Federal Treasury Aleksandr Mikhailik added that the sports and athletic contest would contribute to team building and increasing work efficiency. “This is our second sports contest. It is noteworthy that it, like the first one, takes place in Kazan. We are so fond of Tatarstan, because everything is always organized at the highest level here,” he said.

The meeting will be held from September 15 to 18. The participants will discuss current issues regarding the organization of internal control and audit of the Federal Treasury.
