Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates workers of oil and gas industry on their professional holiday

On August 31, Tatarstan President, Board Chairman of Tatneft Oil Company Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated workers of oil and gas industry on their professional holiday.

“Dear workers of oil and gas industry! Dear industry old stagers! On my own behalf and on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan, from the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on your professional holiday, the Day of Oil and Gas Workers. For many decades, you have brought light and warmth to homes of millions of people in our country. Your hard everyday work determines the socio-economic development of Russia and is the guarantor of its energy security. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the Day of Oil and Gas Workers has become one of the publicly favourite professional holidays, and the profession of an oilman and a gasman is one of the most prestigious and respected in the country.

This year, the republic also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Dzhalilneft Oil and Gas Production Department, the 50th anniversary of the Yamashneft Oil and Gas Production Department and the 70th anniversary of Transneft-Prikamye. We will always remember the history of the formation of the oil and gas industry of Tatarstan, the legendary names and labour achievements of pioneer old stagers.
