Rustam Minnikhanov meets FINA CEO Kornel Markulesku in Moscow

On June 26, at their meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and FINA (International Swimming Federation) CEO Kornel Markulesku discussed issues of further cooperation of Tatarstan with FINA, the implementation of a number of joint projects. In particular, they discussed the development of the Aquatics Centre in Kazan, where athletes, swimmers and jumpers in the water are already training and preparations for the stages of the World Championship are underway.

Preparations for the current events held under the FINA auspices in Kazan were also discussed, including the stages of the World Cup in synchronized swimming, diving and swimming.

The parties also discussed issues of interaction in the long term, namely, the preparation and holding of other events in the future.
