Tatarstan President gets acquainted with the Children's Media Centre in Erfurt

On June 24, during his working visit to Thuringia (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the Children’s Media Centre in Erfurt.  

The Centre was established in 2007 and is a large studio complex that offers studio rooms, office facilities and the necessary infrastructure for small and medium-sized media companies in Germany. Today, 35 various television and radio companies have offices there.

Children's and adolescent video content, including films, soap operas and television shows are produced at the Centre. During the presentation, Minnikhanov was informed that in the last few years local television studios have released about 50 children's art films. Moreover, work is underway on a number of popular youth television series, including Schloss Einstein (Little Einstein), one of the longest seires in the history, the first series of which was released in 1998. The shooting was organized in 2007 shortly after the opening of the Centre.

Then, Minnikhanov was toured around the territory of the Children's Media Centre. In particular, Tatarstan President was shown the shooting location of Schloss Einstein series. It portrays the relationship of students of a boarding house for gifted children called Einstein’s Castle.  Minnikhanov greeted young actors and wished them good shootings.
