Tatarstan Presiden visits the Tyumen Plant of Oilfield Equipment

On June 18, during his working visit to the Tyumen region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Tyumen Plant of Oilfield Equipment.

The plant was set up by the American Baker Hughes Oil and Gas Service Company, a provider of oilfield equipment and services. The company operates in more than 90 countries around the world.

Launched in Tyumen in 2014, the oil-submersible cable production plant is a world-class production facility. All production processes are fully automated. Since 2017, a new assembly workshop for well completion equipment has been operated at the Tyumen Plant of Oilfield Equipment. 

During his visit to the enterprise, Tatarstan President was told about the technological process, the organization of production and key characteristics of the products.

Minnikhanov was informed that Baker Hughes has experience in working with Tatarstan. Thus, the company is cooperating with the Naberezhnye Chelny TatProm-Holding in the production of well filters and inflow control devices.
