More than 35,000 people have been trained from 2008 to 2019. This year, seven students from Tatarstan will undertake an internship at the training centre.

Minnikhanov noted the potential for expanding cooperation between the Siberian Training Centre and universities of the republic in training specialists for the oil and gas industry. He also suggested that Schlumberger should consider the possibility of opening a laboratory in the republic. “Today, many of the world's leading companies are opening their specialized laboratories in Tatarstan, inlcudimg Yokogawa, Siemens, Schneider Electric and others. Students will be able to learn from your technology. They will have relevant skills to organize work in future. I think that we need to work more closely with each other,” Minnikhanov said.
