Tatarstan Prime Minister visits Red Bull Air Race

On June 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Tatarstan Minister of Sport Vladimir Leonov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leila Fazleeva and CEO of Directorate for Sports and Social Projects Azat Kadyrov visited Kazan Family Centre, which became the main venue for watching the Red Bull Air Race, the next stage of the world championship in the air race, held over the water area of Kazanka river on June 15-16.

As many as 26 pilots are competing in the dexterity of flying light aircraft. Competitions are held in Challenger and Master classes.

Pesoshin watched the Master races and the ceremony of awarding winners, visited the tower, where flight is controlled and also talked to Director General of the Red Bull Air Race Erik Wolf.

Red Bull Air Race is held for the third time in Kazan. The capital of Tatarstan hosted competitions in 2017 and 2018.
