Aleksey Pesoshin: Kazan has all the required infrastructure to organize WorldSkills 2019 in the best manner possible

On April 25, in Moscow, speaking at an official reception of foreign ambassadors on the eve of the 45th WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Championship, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesohin said that Kazan has all the required infrastructure to organize the WorldSkills 2019 in the best possible manner.

“On behalf of Tatarstan President and the Government of the republic, I would like to express my gratitude for the trust placed in the republic in terms of holding the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan. Organizing such a large-scale event is a great honour and a huge responsibility to us,” Pesoshin said in his speech.

He said that Kazan Expo Exhibition Centre, which meets all international requirements, was built in the republic specifically to hold the championship.

The Prime Minister of the republic also noted that the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 will give a new impetus to the development of vocational education system all over the world. “I am sure that all the championship events will be held in the best manner possible. Welcome to Kazan!” Pesoshin added.

As part of the official reception, the guests were given general information about the championship and were told about its business programme.

 Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova and Minister of Education of Russia Olga Vasilyeva also took part in the event.
