Rustam Minnikhanov holds a meeting of the Investment Council of Tatarstan

On April 23, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a meeting of the Investment Council of the republic to consider a number of investment projects to be implemented in Tatarstan.

The first project considered during the meeting was the project on construction the Tubetei Tower, invested by the entrepreneur from Perm. The tower is planned to located on the right bank of Kazanka River near the Aquatic Palace. The project is aimed at developing the tourist trend of Kazan. The project is planned to be implemented in 2.5 years.

Minnikhanov emphasized that in the future, the Tubetei Tower will become an important symbol of Kazan and a significant place on the tourist map of the city. He gave an errand to his Aide Natalia Fishman and Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities to hold an international contest for the project development of the architectural design of the tower and the park near it.

The project on construction a medical rehabilitation centre in Kazan was considered the second. The project is aimed at establishing a modern high-tech institution providing medical services to the population to recover from injuries of the locomotive organs of heart diseases and neurological damage and take care of elderly people.

Tatarstan President said that the republic is interested in the implementation of this project. He instructed the relevant ministries to assist the investor in the choice of land and the connection of engineering networks.

The meeting participants also got acquainted with the project of Air Liquide Company on the reconstruction and modernization of storage systems and supply of medical oxygen in medical institutions of the republic.

He approved the project and said that the Company proved itself in this market.

Minnikhanov got acquainted with the project of FarMedPolis Company on the establishment of medical industrial park at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.

Under the project, it is planned to organize an industrial park with the involvement of residents for the development and production of medical instruments and other related products.

Minnikhanov appreciated the prospects for the establishment of a medical industrial park in the republic. He asked to analyze all stages of the project implementation, paying particular attention to the work with residents.
