Rustam Minnikhanov meets Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan Farridin Nasriev

On December 27, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan Farridin Nasriev.

Minnikhanov wished the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan success in his new position. He also expressed gratitude for the decision to open the Consulate General in Kazan.

According to Minnikhanov, the appearance of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan will make it possible to bring trade, economic and humanitarian ties to a higher level.

It was noted during the meeting that delegations from Uzbekistan have visited Tatarstan many times. In particular, a representative delegation from Uzbekistan led by First Deputy Prime Minister of the country Achilbai Ramatov visited the republic last week.

“I am sure that as the head of the Consulate General you will do your utmost to further develop relations between our republics for the benefit of strengthening relations between Russia and Uzbekistan,” Minnikhanov said, addressing Nasriev.

Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Tatarstan Radik Vakhitov took part in the meeting.
