Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities: As many as 355,900 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On February 23, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Acting Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin, Regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of February 22, 2019, as many as 355,900 square meters of housing, which makes 13.3 per cent of the plan for the current year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

He also continued that since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 170 inspections and issued 26 decisions on imposing fines for the sum of 1m 400 thousand roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations. Self-regulatory organizations have carried out inspections at 107 member organizations.

Faizullin emphasized that under the investment programme of Presidential State Housing Fund of the republic, it is planned to commission 165 houses with 7838 apartments with the total area of 438,300 square meters in 2019.

The Fund has reported to the statistics agencies that as of February 22, 2019, as many as 26 houses for 1610 apartments with the total area of 94,700 square meters have been commissioned in the republic.

As many as 21 of 149 planned houses with the total area of 113,300 square meters under the programme of multi-apartment investment housing construction have been commissioned in 2019.

As for low-rise construction, 1,146 houses of 8,450 planned have been commissioned.

The Minister also added that it is planned to provide 309 orphans and 35 large families, having 5 and more children, 53 young families and 43 citizens from among immigrants from the Far North, retired military and Chernobyl victims with housing.
