Tatarstan President arrives on a working visit in Germany

On February 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a one-day working visit in Germany, was met by Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office of Saxony Marcus Franke at the international airport in Dresden.

During his working visit, Tatarstan President plans to visit two cities, in particular, Dresden and Munich.

In Dresden, at their meeting, Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of Saxony Michael Kretschmer are expected to sign an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Federal State of Saxony on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.

In Munich, Minnikhanov is scheduled to meet Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Söder. Then, at their meeting, Tatarstan President and senior managers of Siemens Company will discuss prospects for cooperation in energy. At the end of the meeting, an agreement is to be signed between the Siemens and Tatenergo Company on the modernization of Zainsk Hydroelectric Power Station.

During his working visit, Minnikhanov will meet Chairman of Linde Engineering Board of Directors Christian Bruch and discuss the implementation of joint projects.
