Denis Manturov and Rustam Minnikhanov visit the Russia’s stand at IDEX-2019 Exhibition

On February 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnokhanov and Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov visited the Russia’s stand at IDEX-2019 International Defence Exhibition.

Rosoboronexport is the organizer of Russia’s joint exposition at the exhibition. This year, more than 50 national defence-industrial enterprises demonstrated their innovations at IDEX 2019. More than 200 advances samples for all types of armed forces were showcased for foreign partners. As Rosoboronexport had previously reported, more than 50 national defence-industrial enterprises, including Rostec State Corporation, Rosoboronexport, Kalashnikov Concern, Almaz-Antey, Uralvagonzavod, Roselectronika, Angstrem, High-Precision Complexes, Tekhmash and a number of other national companies, demonstrated their innovations at IDEX-2019.

Manturov and Minnikhanov visited stands of Russian exhibitors and got acquainted with technologies that were displayed at the international exhibition venues for the first time. For example, the High-Precision Complexes demonstrated Pantsir-ME, a shipborne air-defense missile and artillery system, designed and manufactured by the Instrument Design Bureau named after Academician A.S.Shipunov for the first time.

The Kalashnikov Concern demonstrated the newest Kalashnikov AK-200 series assault rifles, including AK200, AK203, AK204 and AK205 and KUB-BLA high-accuracy missile strike unmanned aerial vehicle. The Russian Minister and Tatarstan President also looked around match pistols and an electric motorcycle produced by the enterprise.

The BMD-4M airborne combat vehicle, the BTR-MDM multi-purpose fully-amphibious armoured personnel carrier, BT-3F tracked amphibious armored personnel carrier, the Viking anti-aircraft missile system and the Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile system, Karakurt-E and Sarsar small-size missile ships are also displayed at the exhibition. Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant represents the republic at the event.
