Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a plenary session of the 13th Business Partners of Tatarstan Forum

On November 30, at the IT park in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 13th Business Partners of Tatarstan Forum.

The event brought together about 300 representatives of business communities and national-cultural organizations from more than 40 regions of Russia and 11 foreign countries.

The business forum is held to strengthen interregional trade, economic and cultural ties. The event is organized by the World Tatar Congress, as well as the board of the World Association of Assistance to Tatar Entrepreneurs, whose activities are aimed at consolidating the Tatar people.

This year, Chairman of the Milli Shura National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziyev was the moderator of the forum.

The entrepreneurs from Astrakhan region, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Kazakhstan and other regions made their proposals on organizing partnership, setting up joint businesses. They also shared their experience on establishing and developing business in various branches of industry, including transport and logistics services, IT sector, medicine and healthcare, education, culture.

The forum participants also touched upon the creation of the Strategy for the Development of the Tatar People, noting that the document will contribute to the unification of the Tatars.

Speaking at the forum in Tatar, Tatarstan President noted, in particular, that in the age of globalization it is necessary to look for new methods and forms of support for the native language. According to Minnikhanov, all those who are not indifferent to the native language, culture and traditions of the native people can join their efforts to interact with compatriots.
