Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the Partnership for Development of Clusters International Scientific and Practical Conference

On October 31, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the fourth International Scientific and Practical Conference “Partnership for Development of Clusters”.

The Partnership for Development of Clusters is considered to be one of the largest specialized events on cluster interaction in Russia. It is organized by the Kamsky Innovative Territorial and Production Cluster Non-Profit Partnership Association with the support of the regional Government, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, RVC (Government fund of funds Development institute of the Russian Federation), Higher School of Economics National Research University.

This year the conference has brought together more than 500 participants, including representatives of government, business, academic community, centres of cluster development, experts from Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The programme includes panel sessions and round tables. The conference is practice-oriented.

The event is held from the 31st of October 31 to the 2nd of November, 2018.

Delivering his welcoming speech at the conference, Pesoshin said that “development of cluster cooperation is the key to sustainable development of individual enterprises and sectors, as well as regions and the country as a whole."

He reminded that as part of the implementation of the May decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, we face ambitious tasks to implement breakthrough scientific, technical, technological, social and economic development of the country through accelerated development and introduction of technology in the economy, social sphere, as well as in basic sectors of the economy and high-performance export-oriented sector.

“High-performance innovation clusters have an important role to play. Tatarstan pays particular attention to this matter,” Pesoshin said. “The cluster approach is the basis of our long-term development strategy until 2030.”

Tatarstan Prime Minister said that the joint work the state and cluster organizations have done recently has contributed to the integrated development of the territories.
