Tatarstan President holds a meeting with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Dubai on the sidelines of GIES-2018

On October 30, on the sidelines of the Global Islamic Economy Summit in Dubai, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.

Tatarstan President noted the high level of organization of the forum, which is an important platform for discussing development issues of the Islamic economy and halal industry in the world.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great importance to the development of relations with the United Arab Emirates. He thanked the Sheikh for his attention to the issues of cooperation with the republic and invited him to take part in the International Economic Summit "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanSummit" next spring.

In his turn, the Crown Prince thanked Minnikhanov for the participation in the GIES -2018 Forum and appreciated the role played by Tatarstan in strengthening cooperation between Russia and the UAE.
