Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Insulating Pipe Plant in Naberezhnye Chelny

On October 12, during his working trip to Naberezhney Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Insulating Pipe Plant.

The plant became a resident of the territory of advanced economic development "Naberezhnye Chelny" last autumn. The company produces pipes with outer and inner protective coatings. The plant plans to produce up to 72,000 tonnes of steel pipes annually and to increase its output up to 118,000 tonnes by 2021. The finished products of the plant are intended for main gas and oil pipelines.

Later on today, Minnikhanov plans to hold an offsite extended session of the regional counter-terrorism commission to consider the issue of counter-terrorism protection at educational facilities.

Then, Tatarstan President will take part in the opening of the road with a total length of 2.7 km in the industrial zone of the city that was reconstructed with the support of the Fund for the Development of Single-Industry Cities.

At the end of his visit, Minnikhanov will attend a gala concert dedicated to the Machine Builder Day.
