Rustam Minnikhanov launches a new packaging factory at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone

On September 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the Danaflex-Alabuga factory on manufacturing flexible packaging at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov emphasized that the Danaflex-Alabuga is a high-technology production facility with the most modern equipment.

To date, over 1.7 billion roubles have been into the project. This work will be continued. The total investment into the new enterprise will amount to three billion roubles. Over 200 people have already been employed here. More and more new jobs will be established with the plant development. I wish you a successful business", - Minnikhanov addressed to the senior executives of the plant.

Director of the Industrial Development Fund Roman Petrutsa said that the Fund allocated 500 million roubles to the project a year ago.

Petrutsa added that today Tatarstan is in the TOP 5 regions of Russia in the number of projects supported by the Fund.

President of Danaflex Company Ayrat Bashirov emphasized that the new plant at Alabuga will allow the company to reach 25 per cent share of the Russian packaging materials market. He thanked the leadership of Tatarstan for the constant support during the project.

After the opening of the factory, Minnikhanov and other honored guests looked around the production facilities of the enterprise.
