Rustam Minnikhanov: Student Educational Forum is a good platform for young people to develop necessary skills and use them in the future

On August 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 5th Student Educational Forum and talked to its participants.

The organizers of the Forum are League of Student of the republic with the support of Tatartsan Government.

For the first time the event is organized in three shifts and gathered over 2000 participants, in particular students and applicants of higher and specialized secondary educational establishments from cities and regions of Tatarstan and Russian regions.

Tatarstan President met the active of volunteerism and representatives of volunteer movement.

The movement includes volunteers of all areas, in particular,  event and social volunteering, volunteers of ecology and medicine, Victory volunteers and volunteers in the field of culture. The working programme with volunteers includes general trainings, discussions with organizers of the movement and the work in the areas.

Welcoming the participants of the event, Minnikhanov emphasized that the Forum is a good platform for young people to develop necessary skills and use them in the future, convey them where they are studying and learning.

“You have a lot of different directions of work. It is very important to gather you at the Forum, provide an opportunity to talk and most important to give you mentors who could direct you,” Tatarstan President said.

“We have established a new structure - the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan. This ministry should work very actively in the interests of youth, and we will support your endeavors,” he continued.

Minnikhanov wished the participants and the guests of the Forum successes and new achievements.
