Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the harvesting campaign in Rybnaya Sloboda municipal region

On August 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov made a helicopter fly over the region's fields to get acquainted with the course of the harvesting campaign and to talk to farmers, investors and heads of settlements of Rybnaya Sloboda municipal region.

Head of the region Ildar Tazutdinov reported that the harvesting campaign started in the region on July 27. The total area of grain and pulse crops land is 46,000 hectares.

As of today, as many as 20,500 hectares or 44.5 per cent of the area have been threshed, producing 52,400 tonnes of grain with an average yield of about 25.6 centners per hectare.

Tazutdinov also said that 90 harvester-threshers grain are working in the fields of the region. According to him, there are no problems with spare parts and fuel. The grain growers are in an excellent mood.

The Head of the region thanked Tatarstan President for financial support in the amount of 144 million roubles allocated from the federal and regional budgets. He also added that the region received 8.4 million roubles to support private subsidiary farming to increase productivity in dairy farming.
