Rustam Minnikhanov about the Tatarstan Council for Entrepreneurship: This form of communication with entrepreneurs can be used at the federal level

On August 15, at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the ninth extended meeting of the Tatarstan Presidential Council for Entrepreneurship, which was broadcast online. 

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that for the third year in a row, officials meet representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to have an open dialogue. According to Minnikhanov,  “a good form of communication" has been found.

Issues that business representatives are facing today should be addressed jointly, Minnikhanov said. According to him, many issues discussed concern the powers of federal officials. Minnikhanov thanked Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Savva Shipov, who also took part in the meeting, for joining the discussion.

Minnikhanov stated that this form of communication with entrepreneurs can be used at the federal level, because issues and problems raised are relevant for the whole country and all regions.

In his turn, Shipov also appreciated the format of communication with representatives of small and medium-sized business adopted in Tatarstan. He said that issues raised there are important for all entrepreneurs.

Shipov briefly described the main tasks and outlined the agenda at the federal level to improve the business climate. According to him, the main thing is the entrance to the market.

Minnikhanov said that the rating of the municipal regions of the republic in terms of the business climate will be presented at today’s meeting.  

Making a keynote report at the meeting, Commissioner under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights Timur Nagumanov said, in particular, that over the past three months the Council has worked intensively on two dozen topics. Four project groups were discussed at today’s meeting. The first topic concerned the development of industrial parks, the second group considered the establishment of sanitary facilities, the third group worked on the topic related to the requirements of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of republic for qualification of ecologists and the fourth group was devoted to the transport security and equipment of vehicles with GLONASS systems.
