Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting of the Public Council of the Federal Party Project “Urban Environment”

On July 17, in the State Duma of the Russian Federation in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular meeting of the Public Council of the Federal Party Project “Urban Environment” to discuss the current tasks of the Council.

Minnikhanov said that the project has become a new successful form of interaction between citizens and the authorities, improving overall security and comfort and fully meeting the topical needs of society. For the second year running, he has been heading the Public Council of the project.

According to Minnikhanov, the party's project not only implements the task of improvement of the cities, but also solves the important socio-political task of development of a vibrant civil society.

The project coordinator, Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Housing Policy, Housing and Utilities Pavel Kachkaev reported on the implementation of the Urban Environment project during the first six month of the current year, including the results of monitoring and campaigns held under the project.
