Rustam Minnikhanov sends a telegram of condolences to Galina Govorukhina on the death of her husband

On June 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram of condolences to Galina Govorukhina, the widow of the famous Russian cinematographer Stanislav Sergeevich Govorukhin.

On behalf of Tatarstan citizens and on my own behalf please accept most sincere condolences on the death of your husband, an outstanding Russian cinematographer Stanislav Sergeevich Govorukhin. It was a huge loss for our country and our multinational Russian culture – a unique and great person of creative talent passed away.

It is impossible to overestimate the contribution of Govorukhin to the development of the national cinema art - each of his films is a talented, bright work of art, and an honest, profound statement of a true patriot, a citizen of his country. His fruitful public activities have always been directed to the benefit of people and have become a significant contribution to the development of the Russian state.

The multifaceted creative heritage of the legendary Stanislav Govorukhin, his good deeds, the bright, grateful memory of this great Man remain in our hearts.
