New Development Bank approved project of development of historical sites of Chistopol

On May 28, during a working visit of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Shanghai, at their meeting, President of the BRICS New Development Bank Kundapur Vaman Kamath said that the senior executives of the Bank approved project of integrated development of the territory and infrastructure of small historical settlements in the city of Chistopol.

Minnikhanov thanked Kamath for the approval of the project and noted that Chistopol is a unique historical and cultural centre.

Under the project, a large-scale repair and restoration works, establishment of new museums, reconstruction of a passenger pier is scheduled in Chistopol.  The project is planned to be implemented in 2018-2025.
